Installation Of A Pivoting Door

The pivoting doors have to be installed by a carpenter on a per-frame or pre-frame previously placed on site by a mason.

The installation of a pivoting door is straightforward and without added complexity to the installation of a standard swing door. The only differences between a pivoting door and a standard swing door are:

  • The weight, a pivoting door usually weighs 50-60 kg more than a standard door.
  • The need to install a bearing in the lower part of the door that we will have to screw to the ground.

The installation of a pivoting door can be done by an experienced carpenter or installer since the regulation, leaking and fixing to the pre-frame or pre-frame is done as in the installation of the rest of the doors.
